![]() ![]() My scaling their weight back a bit, I think you’d have a character who still looks like a normal human being, one who skews a bit on the larger side, but also one you might actually believe might spend some time in the wilderness.Įven when fully covered in armor, their torso is far too large, which kills any notion of being a “druid” in any sense. But being these absolutely massive bellies, and faces that are very clearly super obese, it doesn’t create a super appealing character. ![]() And again, they don’t need to be super lean or ripped or anything. When he shape-shifts, he actually becomes smaller. If you see them without a beard, you shouldn’t be staring at layers of fat or a literal “double-chin”. But they should also look like reasonably healthy human beings. They don’t need to be ripped like Barbarians, not as all. They look more like they spend their days eating and/or drinking too much, and little else. ![]() But their bodies are woefully disproportionate, particularly for what are supposed to be savage hunters that live off the land. They are clearly, unquestionably obese, and that’s not a desirable trait for a character we’re meant to spend years looking at and playing as.īeing “big” is fine. And being a bigger dude isn’t the end of the world or anything (even if I still really dig the D2 Druid’s design).īut the D4 Druid is just way beyond the line of acceptable. Alright, so asking for entirely different body-types is obviously not going to be feasible. ![]()
